Fishing-line is
surely the most famous and the oldest fishing tool. It is
being used only from a non-moving boat. The basic feature
of fishing with a fishing-line is the position of nylon,
which has to be vertical during the fishing time, and that
is being done by putting pressure with lead. Lead is normally
at the end of nylon and hooks with baits above it (although
other systems are available too). Traditionally, fishing
is carried out “by hands”, while today it is more common
to add a stick. As a bait, it is possible to use mussel
meat, pieces of cephalopoda and pilchard, while according
to many sources, the best bite is – pieces of big sea worm
(there are small sea warms that are also a good bait).
